Trip lengths vary by region and purpose, typically ranging from one to two weeks. Some specialized trips or scouting visits run shorter. We will give you a clear itinerary during the application process so you can plan accordingly.

We take safety seriously and assess conditions on the ground continuously. Some regions we serve are genuinely difficult — including gang-controlled areas of Haiti and closed countries in South Asia. We are honest about that. We also have years of experience operating in these contexts and deep relationships with local partners who help us navigate wisely. We will never send a team somewhere we do not believe it is responsible to go.

Trip costs vary based on destination and duration and typically include flights, accommodations, meals, and in-field logistics. We provide a full cost breakdown early in the process so participants can plan and fundraise. Many team members raise their trip funds through their church or personal support network.
